Broad-leaved Thyme

Thymus pulegioides

0 offers

Broad-leaved thyme (Thymus pulegioides 'Foxley') is a robust ground cover that is native to Europe. It has evergreen, light green, small, broad leaves that are darkly covered on the underside of the blades. The plant produces clusters of bright, pink-purple flowers in spring. It prefers full to partial sun and is tolerant of temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. This low-growing plant can grow up to 12 inches tall and up to 24 inches wide. It is ideal for rock gardens, container gardens, and borders in drier conditions. It is also an excellent choice for gardeners looking to attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
